The Longhouse occupies a dramatic position on a working sheep farm overlooking two valleys in one of the most beautiful and secluded areas in the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are outstanding views of the Black Mountain and the beautiful Carreg Cennen Castle from these architect-designed, detached, 19th-century barns. In the National Park there are masses of paths and trails for walkers (all abilities), runners, cyclists, mountain bikers, golfers, horse riders and wildlife watchers. There is an excellent range of organised activities on offer too, from gentle recreational pursuits like photography, to full-on adrenaline sports such as paragliding, canoeing, rafting and abseiling. There are a good selection of restaurants and pubs in peaceful Trapp, 2 miles, Llandeilo, 6 miles, and quaint Llangadog, 8 miles. Beach 28 miles. Shops and restaurant 6 miles, pub 2 miles.
The Longhouse, Rhandir Barn, Ysgubor Fawr, Ty Nant, Y Bwthyn can be booked together to accommodate up to 25 guests. The magnificent dining-room at Ysgubor Fawr is double height and has a minstrel gallery and seating for 20 guests, and more can be added. The adjacent kitchen is well equipped and easily lends itself to use by caterers.
