Located in excellent walking country, this holiday property commands outstanding views of the Black Mountain and Carreg Cennen Castle.

The Long House occupies a dramatic position on a working sheep farm overlooking two valleys in one of the most beautiful and secluded areas in the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are outstanding views of the Black Mountain and the beautiful Carreg Cennen Castle from this architect-designed, detached, 19th-century barn.

In the National Park there are masses of paths and trails for walkers (all abilities), runners, cyclists, mountain bikers, golfers, horse riders and wildlife watchers. There is an excellent range of organised activities on offer too, from gentle recreational pursuits like photography, to full-on adrenaline sports such as paragliding, canoeing, rafting and abseiling. There are a good selection of restaurants and pubs in peaceful Trapp, 2 miles, Llandeilo, 6 miles, and quaint Llangadog, 8 miles. Beach 28 miles. Shops and restaurant 6 miles, pub 2 miles.

Note: The Long House, Rhandir Barn, Ysgubor Fawr, Ty Nant and Y Bwthyn can be booked together to sleep up to 25 people. The magnificent dining-room at Ysgubor Fawr (double height and minstrel gallery) has seating for 20 and more can be added. The adjacent kitchen is well equipped and easily lends itself to use by caterers.
